From Bastia, the largest town in Haute-Corse, to the tip of Cap Corse, it’s a journey to the Corsica of yesteryear that awaits you. For your trip, we have selected hotels on the east and west of Cap Corse as well as Saint Florent and Bastia. From each point, you will be able to visit all this beautiful region.
Discover the “Haute-Corse”
Bastia is the 2nd largest city on Corsica in terms of population. With its old town, citadel and narrow streets overlooking the old port, Bastia is full of charm. If the town is not famous for its beaches, it is a pleasant stroll along the Boulevard Paoli with its many shops, have a coffee on Place Saint Nicolas, and simply stay there to immerse yourself in the history of Corsica.
The tiny Saint-Tropez
Half village and half seaside resort, Saint Florent is also nicknamed the “little Saint Tropez” of Corsica. The chic little town offers sumptuous beaches accessible only by boat or 4×4 and a trip to the very fine white sand and transparent water of the nearby beaches of Saleccia and Lodu are well worth it. There, there are no luxury restaurants: enjoy lunch in the heart of a splendid pine forest, in harmony with nature.
Next to the town, the beach is adorned with pebbles; wander the streets or the marina with its friendly atmosphere, to the imposing Genoese citadel which, in August, welcomes the now famous music festival Porto Latino.
The vineyard region
Patrimonio is the Corsican wine region par excellence and the village has its own AOC accreditation. Our concierge service can provide you with the best addresses for a tasting at the heart of a vineyard in the region.
Patrimonio is also a small charming village whose church is dedicated to Saint Martin, the patron saint of wine-makers.
Its small open-air theatre hosts the ‘Nuits de la Guitare’ festival where musical celebrities perform each year.
